After having been in the retail sector for nearly 3 decades the generic business was set up with just 2 Marketing Authorisations in 2006 under the trading style Somex Pharma. Today Somex holds over 60 active Marketing Authorisations for more than 30 Products (Solid dosage forms) under its belt. Somex is all geared up for many more in the coming years.

Somex holds a WDA and MIA with in-house QA/Regulatory and QP release functions. Goods are stored and distributed from our own warehouses based in Ilford and Enfield. Strategic alliances have been formed with several EU GMP manufacturing facilities around the globe. Somex exports to Malta, Georgia and Albania through its partners. Somex has also obtained Home Office Licence to possess and store Schedule 3, 4 part 1 and 5 controlled drugs
